Marcello Lippi's National Team, which has been reduced by the disastrous experience of the Confederations Cup, has slipped fifth in the Fifa ranking behind Holland and Germany. The technical commissioner of the Azzurri confirms that there will be changes, but the group on which the Viareggino has always relied. "Renewal yes, revolution no - speaks Marcello Lippi -. I'm convinced that if we have a chance on a billion to win the World Championship again, we don't get it by abandoning experienced players. Winning another World would not be clamorous: it would be exceptional.
If someone does not return in the necessary conditions he will not be part of this group, but the vast majority will be there. I don't have the eyes lined with ham: I am doing the renewal, taking in mind the extraordinary players who won the World Championship . And I do it by conviction, not by gratitudeI have no eyes lined with ham: I am carrying out the renewal, keeping in mind the extraordinary players who won the World Championship . And I do it by conviction, not by gratitude."
