The Seleçao exceeds 2-0 the blue at Emirates: it opens Elano to 13' (on Legrottaglie error), doubles Robinho to 27' (Pirlo naivety). First time embarrassing, then in the shooting Lippi changes half team and the National goes close to the goal in more than one occasion: Julio Cesar is unsurpassed. Lippi accepts defeat by 2-0 from Brazil: "I am sorry for this defeat. But it burns because I was no longer used to losing. Good opportunities in shooting but against the best in the world needs another mentality. We had too much reverential fear, especially in the beginning."
